The Louisiana State Sexual Assault Kit Tracking (SAKT) solution was developed using Microsoft Power Pages portal technology in response to a mandate from the Governor. Louisiana State Police Crime Lab was faced with a tight deadline, the team collaborated with Microsoft to quickly build and deploy the solution, meeting the state’s critical needs. The SAKT solution is designed to bring greater transparency and efficiency to the process, allowing survivors, law enforcement, and medical professionals to track the status of sexual assault kits in real time.
